Concrete Texture
story & philosophy

I am Miesha the girl behind Impermanence Pottery. My journey began with Ceramics at Colorado Mountain College. I knew I was destined to be a maker and when I got my hands muddy for the first time I knew I had found my path. My practice with ceramics gave birth to the concept of Impermanence Pottery. Working with clay is an avenue for me to practice detachment, as so many things in our world are impermanent. Working with clay is not only a career but a ritual that provides a safe haven.

Each piece I make holds the intention to create a deeper relationship between the user and the chosen ritual. With a tactile mug and intriguing line work a cup of coffee can become a morning meditation.
